#Ad Product Spotlight: Motorola Launches Hubble Smart Nursery App, Comfort Cloud And Halo + Smart Nursery Products

All info including pictures belongs solely to the Motorola/Hubble companies, respectively. I am posting as a non-sponsored #Ad.

New Motorola monitors for home and nursery feature Alexa capabilities, facial recognition, smart zoning and even sleep analysis
Helping parents has always been the driving force for Binatone’s development of new baby products from Motorola. 2019 will see cutting edge devices and services focused on baby sleep and well-being.
The Motorola Halo
The Motorola Halo is a unique baby monitor that can attach to any cot or crib giving an unparalleled ‘parent’s eye view’ of the baby. At the heart of Halo is a 1080p camera with IR night vision to 10m with two-way audio activated by motion and audio sensors. This feeds crystal clear video and audio to a connected home-viewer or, if parents prefer, they can access the camera on their smart phone via the partner Hubble-for-Baby app from anywhere they choose.
The Hubble App has been specifically developed for all Motorola connected products and unlocks many features to help parents of newborns and infants.
The Motorola Halo camera also doubles as a portable monitor and can easily be detached from the cot/crib mount and positioned anywhere in the home, making it both a fixed and mobile solution.
In addition to the camera, the cot/crib mount has a choice of ambient soft glow light settings and a night sky ‘virtual mobile’ to project sky scenes onto the nursery ceiling. The two-way audio can also be used to play lullabies and other soothing sounds direct through the speaker from the Hubble-for-Baby services accessed through the partner app.
The Halo sets a new standard in nursery monitoring and coupled with the Hubble-for-Baby partner app, will become the benchmark for new parents looking for more than just a monitor. Available now online at BuyBuyBaby & Bed Bath and Beyond – other national retailers and e-tailers coming soon.
MSRP: $299.00 (Including home monitor), $249.00 (Without monitor)The Comfort Cloud
The Motorola Comfort Cloud is a smart baby cushion designed with soft and breathable fabric, providing a comfortable environment for a baby to sleep. The smart cushion includes a sleep sensor-strip that monitors sleeping patterns based on several factors including heart rate, respiratory rate, sleep cycles, body movement and sleep time.
The sleeper can be paired to the Hubble Smart Nursery app to get a full summary of your baby’s sleep patterns. Pairing to the app allows the cushion to link to a nursery camera, unlocking the Aurora sleep services from Hubble which include lullabies, white noise, stories, video summaries and safe zoning.
The device is completely mobile with 20 days between charges and with washable covers and a selection of changeable patterns, making the Motorola Comfort Cloud an incredible innovation for new parents. Coming to retail in 2019.
MSRP: $199.00
The Hubble IoT platform – All Of The Information You Need In One Place
The Hubble IoT platform has also undergone an overhaul transformation with some new, exciting services added for 2019. Hubble-for-Baby app now features a number of new features to help parents track and monitor their baby’s development.
Sleep is a critical feature for development and Hubble-for-Baby allows any connected Motorola baby monitor to do much more than just record your baby sleeping. A baby tracking diary, access to expert sleep advice, in-depth sleep analytics and smart zoning are all part of the new Hubble-for Baby app which can be accessed from any connected Motorola baby monitor.

“The Radventures of Radimus Platypus” Vol. 1‏: Mikey Bondoc

The Radventures of Radimus Platypus” is a new children’s book series launching early 2016.
Readers are introduced to Radimus while he’s still in his egg. Since he’s decided, as all babies do, that he’s ready to break out, he begins hatching. Unfortunately for his startled mother, this involves his egg bouncing off everything & eventually, out of the house! Follow Rad’s birth adventure as he goes from encased in a shell to finding out exactly who he is in the world.

Adorable- that’s the best way to describe our platypus friend. His message is straight to the point: be true to you. His adventurous birth leads way to encountering other animals & nearly giving his mother a nervous breakdown (what child hasn’t, really?).

Mikey Bondoc is both author & illustrator. Rad is too cute not to love & his message is timeless. I highly recommend it for early readers & the Pre-K to K set. It’ll be a great addition to homeschool shelves & one that beginning students will want to learn to read themselves. Because the illustrations follow the story exactly, it will aid with sight words & in following along.

Mikey Bondoc has done a fabulous job & I give ‘Rad’ a full 5 stars!

The book has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to support Vol.1 and the full series and any support is appreciated.
The Radimus Platypus brand is committed to supporting organizations that spread environmental awareness as well as children’s health, well-being and creative thinking and the books are to be printed in a local eco-friendly printing facility.- Marley PR

2015 Holiday Gift Guide: Baby’s Brilliant

HUGGLY-WUGGLY-305x210A Huggly Wuggly Pug“: Al Pelullo“An adorable pug goes about his day looking for a Huggly-Wuggly-Hug”
SCARED-COVER-305x210It’s Alright to be Scared“: Benedict Coulter“Jack is excited to go to his new school after summer vacation but first he has to go to the doctor and get a shot but this makes him scared. The shot was over so fast he couldn’t believe it, that made him feel better. Then at school his hero a astronaut was a guest in class and Jack raised his hand and asked him if he was scared when he went to space. The astronaut said that he was and that it was alright to be scared. This made Jack happy to know he learned today that it is really alright to be scared.”
00-cover-305x210There’s Nothing Like Sharing“: Benedict Coulter“Not all children are created equal. Some are born to be “perfect” just as most parents see their children. Perfect until they start to grab toys away from other children, because sharing is just too challenging. Who wants to give up their toys for another child to play with?
Ever feel like your little needs help in the “sharing” field?”
cover-english-305x210It’s Alright to Look Different“: Benedict Coulter“Geared towards children ages 24 months to 5 years old, “It’s Alright to Look Different” is the heart-warming short story of a little chick who was born a different color than his brothers and sisters. Because of the way he looks, the other chicks separate him from the group and ignore him. Then one night, danger appears in the form of a hungry fox, and the little chick is the only one who is able to save them.”
Reading is one of the most important gifts we can give our children. Instilling a love of reading early on sets them up for success. Whether you need some new additions to your homeschool library or just love gifting books, these 4 titles need to be on your list.
Not only are they fun & easy to follow, they’re message is clear. It is okay to be whoever you are. Bullying is everywhere. As caregivers, we have to start early to prevent of kids from becoming bullied or bullies themselves. We need to raise up a generation of kids who aren’t afraid to speak up for themselves & others. The Golden Rule still applies in today’s society.
Sometimes when we aren’t sure how to get our message across, books can fill in the gaps. When we feel connected to the characters, readers can out themselves in the characters’ place. Utilize great children’s books like these four to establish teachable moments & dialogue. They’ll be cherished gifts.
My favorite is ‘It’s Alright to Look Different’. Although I love the theme of all four, there’s something about that little chicken that I love. I highly recommend you add these to your library.

COPPERTONE 005Nothing cuts summer fun short like nasty sunburn. Not only that, but one, blistering sunburn can increase your child’s risk of getting skin cancer in their lifetime. That was a fact I did not know. But, thanks to Coppertone WaterBabies & Coppertone Kids, parents can prevent this from occurring.

The name Coppertone & Summer go hand in hand. Those of us over age thirty surely remember their iconic little girl & her puppy logo. Now the same brand we know & love is going the extra mile to protect our little ones.

In addition to being the #1 Pediatrician recommended brand, Water Babies & Coppertone Kids provides an SPF 50 that is oil, fragrance and dye free. Eyes won’t be irritated with its tear free formula. There’ll be no dryness either thanks to the aloe, moisturizing formula. (Pay adequate attention to the eye area as this skin is more delicate than that of adults.)

As an added bonus, Waterbabies & Coppertone Kids are water resistant for eighty minutes! Eighty minutes! That equals less nagging & more fun. We applied the sunscreen at home before going out into the sun. It certainly did its job for us. Thankfully, we returned sunburn-free.

Don’t forget your own skin! Coppertone offers a wide variety of lotions & sprays for adults, too. Studies show what we already knew: kids imitate parents. Being sun savvy is a learned behavior. Buy your daughter a matching, wide brimmed hat to match your own. Pick up a trendy baseball cap for your son. Let them see that sun safety can be fun!

2012 brought with it a new standard for broad spectrum protection & all Coppertone’s lotions & sprays in stores meet this standard. Broad spectrum refers to UVA & UVB rays which are responsible for burning & damage to skin.

For additional sun strategies, don’t forget hydration. Keep water nearby or healthy popsicles. Stay fashionably cool with sunglasses to shield your eyes. T-shirts alone won’t protect you (according to, they have an SPF of 7 when dry & 3 when wet). Reapply sunscreen during your outing. Keep those 80 minutes in mind when the kiddos are swimming.

Before planning your summer activities, take a minute to visit for additional sun protection advice & suggestions. Check your Sunday papers for additional savings on Coppertone products.  Coppertone haslaunched its second year of its Making the Sunscreen Grade program to provide parents with the tools and resources needed to protect children from the sun.

We were provided with products in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine. Product info has been provided by Coppertone.
