SYNOPSIS: “A little lovebird named Peck lives happily in Australia with his animal friends until he starts to feel like he is the only one without someone to share his life with. Peck decides he must travel to a faraway land to find what he seeks, but he learns through his many adventures that there is so much fun in the journey along the way.”

MY THOUGHTS: What’s NOT to love about Peck? From his adorable, heart-shaped face to his determination, Peck really is a lovebird. But, his beauty isn’t just skin deep. Peck comes to us with a message of friendship & love. Messages like this are timeless. Every child can comprehend Peck’s feelings of loneliness and wanting to connect with someone like them. As Peck follows through with his journey, we see a character with a mindset to never give up and one who achieves his goals. Perhaps millennials need to read Peck too! Bottom line: Peck is a fantastic, beautifully-illustrated 4 star book!
