Til A Death Do Us Part: Stacey Alabaster

Book #5 in the ‘Bakery Detectives Cozy Mystery’ Series

Weddings are usually times for celebration. But, when Pippa & Rachel are involved, nothing ever seems to go according to plan.

Lackluster bakery sales lead Rachel & Pippa to embark on a new adventure- catering. Despite her personal feelings, Rachel agrees to cater Jackson’s wedding. As if it isn’t awkward enough to attend
an ex’s wedding, she & Pippa will be serving desserts at the reception. But, a broken heart will soon take a backseat to more pressing matters.

The bride’s aunt is found murdered in the bathroom. With all eyes towards the crime scene, the guests take a while to realize that the bride is now missing, too. Are the two events related? Poor Jackson needs to solve the murder & find his runaway bride. Looks like he’ll be glad Rachel & Pippa were there.

This is definitely one of the best in the series. It’s an all around fun read with all the chaos at the wedding. Being that there are so many guests/suspects, readers may be guessing for a bit. Rachel & Pippa are their usual fantastic selves and continue to keep the series in its 4 star range.

We get to know Jackson a bit better, too, and he’s not as bad a guy as I thought he may be. I look forward to continuing the series. ‘Til Death’ is definitely a 4 star book.
