Our Buster has become such a part of our family that we don’t remember not having him with us. He’s the first pet we’ve ever had as a family.
He is part Jack Russell & part ‘mystery’. I take his health as seriously as I do the rest of the family’s. He goes to his vet appointments, eats properly, & gets plenty of exercise. When I heard about the new Milk-Bone Good Morning Treats, I was excited to have Buster try them. Milk-Bone’s Good Morning Daily Vitamin Treats provide beneficial nutrients not found in most dog foods.
Buster has become an integral part of dealing with my disabilities. On days when I don’t feel like moving due to pain or stiffness, he encourages me to get moving. Before he joined our family, I had little motivation other than doctors’ orders. But, when he starts dancing around or nudging my hand, I know he needs attention. By focusing on him instead of my limitations, I can better able to get outside & move about the house. His intuition is uncanny. When ‘Dad’ takes him out, he knows he can run faster & explore more. But, when he’s on the leash with me, he will keep pace with my steps, gently moving until I can keep up. He senses when I need to stop or when I’m feeling great. I’ve never had a better workout partner. I truly understand, now, the benefit of therapy dogs for patients!
He’s motivated the kids too. Our youngest incorporates ‘Buster time’ into his physical education studies. Our older sons get a big kick out of racing him tree to tree. Being that his Jack Russell side is ‘high strung’, he never seems to lack energy. Whether it’s chasing after deer in the yard or running laps with Dad, he seems to never stop moving. As a whole our family gets hours of better exercise than we did prior to Buster.
The Milk Bone Good Morning Treats are perfect for our routine. I have morning meds to take so it’s easy to remember to give Buster his treats, too. My husband takes his vitamins at the same time Buster does so it’s served as a reminder there as well. He’s like a walking alarm clock reminding us all to stay healthy. Milk-Bone Brushing Chews are wonderful, too. As important as dental health is to humans, we often forget that our four-legged friends need it as much as we do. What I love most about them is that Buster thinks he’s getting a treat! They last longer than a lot of other treats do & it’s actually good for him. We were surprised at how long he could chew it before it was gone. That’s a definite two for one!
Besides all the benefits to his health & taste buds, Milk Bone is a name I know and trust. I don’t have to think twice before purchasing any of their products. That brand security brings with it a peace that money can’t buy. Big Heart Brands truly cares about animals. It shows in every product they make.

What are four tips to ensure that the entire family – including Fido – is healthy and well?
>> DOGGY EXERCISE
51% of dog parents say they get more exercise because of their dog — but 1 out of 3 pet parents wish their dog would get more physical activity
TIP #1: Turn your pups’ morning or evening walking session into a fun, impromptu workout session for the entire family, so both you and Fido will get your daily fit fix.
>> PUPPY NUTRIENTS
1 out of 3 pet parents are concerned their dog isn’t getting enough of the nutrients they need.
TIP #2: Start every day with a vitamin routine for the whole family. Your pup’s should include nutrients not found in most dog foods, like Glucosamine to support healthy joints or DHA to supplement overall wellness, which Milk-Bone’s Good Morning Daily Vitamin Treats provide.
>> PETTING SESSION CHECK-UPS
Pet parents conduct “well puppy” check-ups, as they would with their child. If a dog is rubbing his eyes, or has oily spots or bumps in his fur, something could be wrong.
TIP #3: Use fun petting sessions to give your dog a quick look over for possible health ailments, like gently rubbing the bottom of his foot pads for sores.
>> A FAMILY RITUAL:
57% of dog parents who also have children involve the kids in their doggy caring care routines, with most reporting that it teaches them good life habits and responsibility.
TIP #4: Your pup needs just as much attention and care as you and your children. When it’s time for your kids to brush their teeth, brush his teeth too (or give him Milk-Bone Brushing Chews).
