The Jungle Book: An Animal Primer’: Jennifer Adams

Exciting news: This we51mebrapLsL__AA278_PIkin4,BottomRight,0,22_AA300_SH20_OU01_ek KiteReaders is releasing 3 new BabyLit titles! Anna Karenina, The Jungle Book & Wuthering Heights- all powerhouses in the world of literature are now made with your baby in mind! It is never too early to begin getting your kids acclimated to reading. Following a doctor’s advice, I began reading to my boys when they came home from the hospital. Test scores worldwide back up this practice.

Obviously, these editions are stream-lined for early learning. Jennifer Adams has pulled key characters & characteristics to focus on. Alison Oliver fills each page with bright, eye-catching illustrations. Kite Readers has even included a free audio inside.

Let’s take a look at ‘The Jungle Book’. Each page contains the animal name such as Wolf, its picture, & something about them such as a characteristic. Parents will recognize these characters right away. With babies/toddlers, short & sweet is usually best. This edition of ‘The Jungle Book’ is perfectly timed to keep interest while the pictures have a great balance of color. There isn’t so much as to overstimulate yet isn’t so muted that they’ll lose interest.

Personally, I adore the idea of starting great literature young. BabyLit eBooks combine the best of technology (eReaders) with classic, written word. I’m so pleased to see this series & can’t recommend ‘The Jungle Book’ enough! Well-done!

I received an eBook in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.
